Frequently Asked Questions

When should I consider getting live-in care?

Many opt for home care after health changes disrupt their home life. Live-in care offers support after:

  • Mobility or balance issues
  • Hospital/rehab stays from accidents or illness
  • New medical diagnoses
  • Challenges in daily tasks like dressing or bathing
  • Memory issues or confusion
  • Regular feelings of loneliness or sadness
  • Struggles with hobbies, home upkeep, or pet care.
  •
Can I choose who visits my home?

We strive to have a dedicated team of caregivers for each individual. While we avoid relying solely on one caregiver for continuity during times of illness or holidays, our priority is to limit the number of caregivers you interact with. This ensures that they truly understand your needs and preferences, fostering a deeper bond and more personalized care.

How long will my carer work daily?

A live-in carer stays in your home, working 10 or 12 hours daily based on your needs. For nighttime support or during their breaks, we'll help arrange it.

What if my carer takes time off?

If your carer takes time off, we prioritize consistent care. You'll have two main carers rotating every two weeks or longer. Should one be unavailable, the other steps in. If both are absent, our trained backup team fills in. We'll keep you informed of any changes.

How quickly can we get care if it's urgently needed?

If urgent care is needed and depending on equipment availability, we can act swiftly. For detailed timelines, please discuss with our care Manager.
